You should know the basic stiches: chain stitch, single crochet, slip stitch, double crochet. All the other sticthes used in the pattern are explained.

This pattern is written in English, standard American terms and includes lot of photos of the process.

Pattern includes instructions for 6 different sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL.

Materials:
*800(980,1180,1400,1650,1900) meters / 875(1070,1290,1800,2070) yds.
*Yarn is fine/fingering/2/4-ply weight yarn. The orange Vest in the pictures is made with Drops Alpaca: 100% Alpaca, 50g/1.75oz=167m/183yds and Turquoise vest is made with Sulo Silky Merino 100g=400m and Beige slipover is made with Lana Grossa Slow wool lino 100g=400m. Other yarn suggestion for example: Debbie Bliss Fine Donegal, Sirdar Snuggly Cashmere Merino Silk 4 Ply, The Yarn Collective Fleurville 4 Ply, The Fibre Co. Cumbria Fingering.

* Crochet hook: Main fabric 4.5mm/7 UK. For the ribbings 4mm /6/8. Use any hook to obtain the gauge!

Gauge:
Ribbings (collar, armhole edgings)> 10FPsc and 8 rows measures 4cmX4cm/1.6”X1.6”. Use any hook to obtain the gauge.
The main fabric (yoke, body)> (1sc, 1dc) pattern> 17sts and 16 rows measures 10cm X 10cm / 4” X 4”.
Gauge Swatch>
Ch18, Row 1> 1dc in 3rd ch from hook (1st ch from hook counted as 1sc), 1sc in next ch, (1dc in next ch, 1sc in next ch) until the end. In total 17sts.
Row 2> ch3, (1sc in next dc, 1dc in next sc) until the end. In total 17sts.
Row 3> ch1, (1dc in next sc, 1sc in next dc) until the end. In total 17sts.
Row 4> ch3, (1sc in next dc, 1dc in next sc) until the end. In total 17sts.
Repeat the rows 3 and 4 6 times more. In total 16 rows.
