You should know the basic stiches: chain stitch, slip stitch. This skirt is made with Slip Stitches. Also Pigots in other skirt.

This pattern is written in standard American terms and includes Many photos of the process.

Pattern includes instructions for the following sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL

XS Bust> 30 1/2 - 32 1/2”/ 78-82cm, Waist> 23 - 24 1/2”/ 58-62cm, Hip> 34 - 35 1/2” / 86-90cm

S Bust> 32 1/2 - 34” / 82-86cm, Waist>24 1/2 - 27” / 62-68cm, Hip> 35 1/2 - 37” / 90-94cm

M Bust> 34 - 35 1/2” / 86-90cm, Waist> 27 - 29” / 68-74cm, Hip> 37 - 38 1/2” / 94-98cm

L Bust> 35 1/2 - 38" / 90-96cm, Waist> 29 - 31” / 74-80cm, Hip> 38 1/2 - 40” / 98-102cm

XL Bust> 36 - 40" / 96-102cm, Waist>31 - 33” / 80-84cm, Hip> 40 - 42” / 102-106cm

XXL Bust> 40 - 42" / 102-106cm, Waist>33 - 35” / 84-88cm, Hip> 42 - 43 1/2” / 106-110cm

Materials for skirt 1 (finer yarn):
Color 1> 250(275,305,330,360,400) meters / 274(300,334,360,394,438) yds.
Color 2> 245(270,300,325,355,390) meters / 270(295,330,360,390,430) yds.

Yarn weight is DK (Worsted) for skirt 1. You can use any yarn that fits into the gauge. I have used for example made with Katia Silk-Viscose Worsted and 2 strands of 6 Karat 100g Schoppel Wolle, Katia Silk-Viscose and Katia Socks Bombay (this is slightly too fine).
Other yarn suggestions for skirt 1>
Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK, Patons 100% Cotton 4 Ply, Rico Essentials Cotton DK, Stylecraft Naturals Bamboo & Cotton DK, Paintbox Yarns Recycled Cotton Worsted, Yarn and Colors Must-Have (4-ply), Debbie Bliss Rialto 4 Ply 100% Merino.

*Crochet hook for the main fabric: 6mm / 10 / J or whatever to obtain the gauge. Smaller hook for example 4.5mm / 7 for border around the hem.
*Needle to sew the seam and the elastic around waist.
*Stitch markers.
*Elastic string around the waist.


Skirt 2 (Thicker yarn, with 1 color)>
320(350,380,420,460,510) meters / 350(382,416,460,504,560) yds.

Yarn weight is Aran weight for skirt 2. You can use any yarn that fits into the gauge. The skirts in the pictures are made with Lana Grossa Linea Pura organic cotton (pink skirt) and yellow skirt is made with one strand of Drops For You recycled cotton and one strand of Drops Alpaca Silk.

*Crochet hook: 7mm / 10.5 / K or whatever to obtain the gauge. The border aorund the hem with smaller hook, for example 6mm / 10 / J.
*Needle to sew the seam and the elastic around waist.
*Stitch markers.
*Elastic string around the waist.
